SURVEY REPORT OF 1,000 U.S. WORKERS
What Workers Want:
The Workplace Qualities That Have the Biggest Impact on Recruiting and Retention
In 2022, OperationsInc surveyed 1,000 actively employed adults in the U.S., across all working-age generations and at businesses of all sizes, to assess their opinions and help employers best develop strategies to effectively recruit and retain talent. Overall, our findings uncovered what makes workers most likely to stay at or leave a company, what makes employees feel most connected and valued by their employers, and what most influences candidates when considering a company’s job offer.
What Really Matters When it Comes to Employee Retention and Recruiting?
The Great Resignation that began in 2021 is showing no signs of slowing in 2022. More than half of our survey respondents say they will look for a job in the next 12 months, with one-third actively looking now. Faced with such an exodus and against a hyper-competitive recruiting market, employers must adapt to meet employee demands or risk their future success.
Our 16-page survey report outlines the workplace qualities that have the strongest impact on employees' intention to leave and which are most likely to attract new candidates.
