What pay raises do workers expect in 2022, and what will make them happy?

Amid high inflation and full employment, most workers are expecting to get a pay raise this year, and two in five expect that raise to be larger than what they received last year. But expectations for increases this year differ widely between men and women, and what workers expect to receive does not align with the increases many say would make them happy.

Our 13-question survey report outlines the full results of our survey of 1,000 employed U.S. adults on their expectations for salary increases in 2022, what is driving them to look for a new job, and what they think about pay equity.
